It's time to get out and enjoy beautiful Bay City
We all know that summer time in Bay City brings a lot of excitement and events. But I want to let you know that April also offers something for everyone, beginning with Easter fun.
There will be two fantastic Easter egg hunts Saturday April 3rd. Bay City State Recreation Area at 11am for ages all the way up to 11 years old. With 5,000 eggs, the hunt is free but a parking permit is required. Info: 684-3020. Redeeming Love Christian Embassy is having two hunts. 11am at Birney Park on the east side of Bay City, and 1:30pm at Nate Doan Park on the west side of Bay City. With 10,000 eggs, the hunt is Free. April 2nd and 3rd , Warmbier Farms presents Chicks & Bunnies from 9am-5pm. They say remember your camera. Admission is free. Info:5300 Garfield Rd 662-7002
April 10th the Historical Museum of Bay County presents "trilobite Treasures: Arthropods of the Ancient Seas" from 1pm-2pm. Featuring nearly 250 specimens and artifacts, this should be an amazing event for all ages. Admission is free. Info: 321Washington Ave 893-5733
April 12th-18th is Downtown Bay City Restaurant Week. This is everyone's chance to check out participating restaurants in our beautiful downtown with special menu prices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Info: 893-3573
Attn. Shoppers! April 17th brings Shipshewana on the Road to the Bay County Civic Arena from 9am - 6pm. Shop til you drop, admission is $3.00 with 12 and under free. Info 4231 Shrestha Dr. (249)979-8888
April 22nd -25th , 29th-30th the Bay City Players presents The Producers , a Mel Brooks Musical. Info: 1214 Columbus Ave 893-5555.
April 30th Saginaw Choral Society presents Broadway Bound at the beautiful State Theatre. The performance is at 8pm with the Bijou Orchestra. Tickets are $25.00 and $20.00 for reserved seating. Info: 913 Washington Ave 892-2660
