Winter is the BEST time to clean your carpet and furniture!
Contrary to popular belief, It Is True. Let me explain...
1) Your Carpet Stays Cleaner Longer in Winter: In spring and summer, dust, pollens and pollutants are blown into your home through open windows resulting in an unhealthy indoor environment. These contaminants get trapped inside when your home gets closed up tight for winter. Your carpets natural filtering ability is so full you and your family begin breathing the polluted air all winter long. Cleaning your carpet and upholstery now, opens up those filters and removes those pollutants for cleaner air while your home is closed up. A clean home is a healthy home.
2) Winter Appointements are Much More Readily Available: It is true, in the spring you may have to wait longer for service. Have you been one of our clients who had to wait 1 week, 2 weeks or more? Beat the spring cleaning rage, facts show that by the end of March it will be so busy that we will have a longer wait time for service. Clean now and avoid the rush.
3) Winter Means Quicker Drying Times: Opposite of what you must think now. Lack of humidity allows moisture to evaporate quickly, carpet and furniture dry faster. Open a window and set the thermastat at 72 or higher and watch your carpet dry fast. Clean in winter for convenience.
4) Waiting 3 More Months May Cause Permanent Damage: Your precious investment may experience damaged traffic lanes, spots become permanent, soil grinding in and breaking down delicate fibers, dust mites breeding and producing up to thirty million pieces of feces every day. Clean now to avoid permanent damage.
5) The Best Savings Ever: We have come up with promotions that make it worth your while. Our lowest prices of the year. Clean in the winter for the best deals. |

Something that you can't see, taste, or touch but it's quickly becoming one of the biggest health threats to families in this country.
The reason our indoor air is such a problem today is we have become so energy efficient. Our homes are sealed up tight-saving on energy, but creating an environment of indoor pollution. Now we all know how dangerous polluted outdoor air can be, but according to the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) indoor air is 2 to 5 times more polluted than outdoor air! As a society, we are seeing an increase in the number of people with allergies and asthma.
Ugly Indoor Air Facts:
- Indoor pollutants are 1000 times more likely to reach your lungs than outdoor pollutants.
- Many homes have 25 to 100 times more pollutants in them than polluted outdoor air.
- We spend 90% of our time indoors.
Believe it or not, the most commonly found particles indoors come from people.
These particles consist of microscopic skin flakes which we all shed at rates of between several hundred thousand and millions per minute, depending on our level of activity.
If pets are present, dander flakes from dogs or cats or birds may join the mix, and if mold growth is present, elevated numbers of spores may also be present in the air. Add to this , microscopic lint fibers from clothing and paper pollutants, pollen, bacteria, and viruses.
All of which promote poor indoor air quality.
Eventually, most of these airborne particles, settle out, some in minutes and some in hours, to become what we call house dust which filters through carpet, upholstery, and draperies. But, when those filters become too full the particles begin to re-circulate through the air we breathe.
